Job summary

Freshpack, a custom cheese packaging company, seeks a Sales Manager in Kentucky to drive revenue, manage key accounts, and lead sales strategy across teams.

You will identify new business, support forecasting and pricing, and expand Freshpack's presence in markets while traveling for customer meetings and trade shows.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of B2B sales in food, strong negotiation and relationship skills, and CRM experience; role includes KPI bonus and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience.
• Experience in food manufacturing, dairy, or CPG industry preferred.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with existing customer accounts.
• Develop and execute strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Conduct customer meetings, presentations, plant tours, and business reviews.
• Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote company capabilities.
• Maintain understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
• Utilize CRM tools to manage sales activities, opportunities, and communications.
• Coordinate customer requests and communicate across internal departments.
• Develop annual business reviews and strategic plans for key customers.
• Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of customer issues.
