Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Account Executive, Specialty Benefits, to work with brokers and health plan sales teams to promote specialty products and drive persistency in the marketplace.

The role involves building strategic broker relationships, presenting to large agencies, negotiating with underwriting, and delivering sales results in alignment with company goals. This position is based in Milwaukee, WI, with competitive compensation and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active state-licensed to sell insurance in all territory states as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Oversee specialty sales to achieve health plan market sales goals and profitability.
• Advocate for specialty voluntary products to drive enrollment and leverage underwriting terms.
• Consult with broker and health plan teams on strategy and deliver finalist and large broker presentations as SME.
• Conduct in-market presentations to promote products and educate stakeholders.
• Develop and drive strategies for top specialty-producing agencies and brokers.
• Collaborate with Sales Management and Health Plan leadership on pipeline, persistency and competitive strategies.
