Job summary

COSCO SHIPPING LINES (North America) Inc. is seeking a Senior Account Executive to grow and retain a diverse portfolio of ocean and logistics accounts in the Chicago area. The role will also cover some clients in the North Central Region.

The ideal candidate will connect with customers effectively and communicate the value of COSCO services. Regional travel is required and the position is based in the Chicago office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in ocean or logistics sales is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and grow the Chicago area and nearby North Central region accounts to meet volume and revenue targets.
• Conduct frequent meetings with existing and prospective accounts in IL, OH, NE, and nearby regions.
• Present COSCO services effectively and pursue invitations to bid for new ocean and logistics business.
• Collaborate with Trade and other divisions to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues.
• Maintain timely CRM records and generate weekly and ad hoc sales reports.
• Represent COSCO at industry events and client engagements to promote the company.
