Job summary

Active Interest Media is seeking a high‑performing Account Executive to drive revenue growth for Fine Homebuilding (FHB) and AIM's premier brands. You will combine strategic account management, consultative selling, and new business development to create integrated marketing solutions across digital, print, events, and more.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of media, advertising, marketing, or business development sales experience.
• Proven track record of managing and growing existing accounts while closing new business.
• Experience selling integrated, multi‑platform marketing solutions.
• Strong consultative selling skills to uncover client needs, package ideas, create value, and close.
• Strong understanding of digital advertising and integrated media.
• Experience working with marketers, brands, advertising agencies, and senior decision-makers.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Comfortable prospecting and creating opportunities rather than relying on inbound leads.
• Experience or relationships within home building, remodeling, architecture, building products, construction, or related categories is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop New Business Across Fine Homebuilding and the AIM Network: identify and prospect new companies, brands, agencies, and categories with strong potential; build relationships; develop cross-network opportunities.
• Own and Grow an Existing Book of Business: manage and expand a portfolio of advertising and marketing partners; understand client objectives and budgets.
• Sell Integrated Marketing Solutions: craft programs across digital, print, events, custom content, lead generation, audience solutions, and sponsorships.
• Manage the Business: meet revenue goals; maintain CRM data; move opportunities through the sales cycle; collaborate with internal teams to deliver client value.
