Senior Account Executive

Lepley Recruiting Services is representing a premier custom carpet and area rug supplier for the hospitality and contract markets. They are known in the design industry for high-quality standards and unique products such as Axminster, injection printed carpet, machine tufted, hand-tufted, and outdoor area rugs.

The company is one of the few floor covering manufacturers worldwide with the ability, experience, and resources to address projects of greater prestige, complexity, and size. Their design and manufacturing processes adhere to exacting Quality Assurance Standards, with environmental certifications including LEED, CARE, and CRI’s Green Level Plus programs.

The company is currently seeking a Senior Account Executive to help establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients. The position offers a competitive package including a base salary with uncapped commission, full benefits, expense account, and generous paid time off.

Candidate Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of hospitality and contract sales experience.
  2. Proven experience as an outside sales representative in the hospitality industry or similar sales environment.
  3. Ability to drive product specifications among hospitality architects and interior designers.
  4. Established relationships within the hospitality sector with a broad client base.
  5. Knowledge of the geographical market and the ability to manage it effectively and efficiently.
  6. Experience with complex and lengthy sales cycles.
  7. Strong organizational and presentation skills.
  8. Some background in carpet and/or Axminster carpet is preferred.
