Athennian increases trust in business. Our products help legal, finance, and tax teams be transaction and audit-ready by organizing business entity and corporate structure information. Over 370,000 business entities in almost every country are managed on Athennian to automate workflows for ownership, company secretarial, governance, tax, and compliance.

We are looking for a UK-based Sales Account Executive to join Athennian’s sales team. This individual will play a critical role in Athennian’s growth by articulating our value proposition to the market and connecting prospective customers to our solutions.

This position is remote-first, based in London, with some in-person travel expected for client meetings, events, and team collaboration activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ability to run executive discovery meetings and uncover personal and organizational pain
  • Full-cycle responsibility across the sales process from discovery to customer onboarding
  • Comfort with uncovering MEDDICC early in an evaluation
  • Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts to sales leadership
  • Meet and exceed all assigned goals related to new bookings and growth targets
  • Be a team player who enjoys collaborating, sharing, and building best practices with other team members
  • Eloquently articulate the cost of inaction as well as competitive differentiation
  • Run early-stage product demonstrations and define scope requirements in preparation for more complex Solution Consultant demonstrations
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of successful B2B SaaS sales experience, with direct experience selling to clients in equity management, private equity, venture capital, finance, or corporate legal markets
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance, entity management, or compliance-driven solutions
  • Proven ability to sell complex SaaS solutions to mid-market and enterprise clients, including navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles and managing procurement, contract terms, and RFP processes
  • Proficient with modern sales tools such as HubSpot, SalesLoft, Gong, and Sales Navigator
  • Skilled in executive-level conversations, negotiations, account planning, and sales forecasting
  • Self-starter with a proactive, strategic approach to prospecting and pipeline development
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment while effectively partnering with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Customer Success)
