Job summary

Insight Enterprises, Inc. in the Detroit area is seeking an Account Executive to serve as a trusted advisor, aligning technology investments with business outcomes.

You will leverage Insight's broad portfolio to help clients modernize infrastructure and optimize software purchases. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of technical sales experience, with professional training in sales and partner management, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

As an Account Executive , you will serve as a trusted advisor helping clients align technology investments to business outcomes. By leveraging Insight's broad portfolio of solutions and services, you'll help organizations modernize infrastructure, transform end-user experiences, optimize software investments, strengthen security, leverage data and AI, and drive innovation across their businesses.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Computer Science, MBA, or master's degree preferred.

• 7 plus years of technical sales experience with a documented successful track record in selling high-end technical solutions across multiple platforms.

• Professional training and certifications in sales and partner management, complex sales training, sales methodologies, effective marketing tactics, negotiation, and financial analysis needed.

• Excellent communication skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills required.

Compensation for this role ranges from $180,000 - $250,000 annually | Base and Variable Bonus are split 50/50 and Variable Bonus is based off quota attainment.
