Job summary

Johnson Controls in Salt Lake City is seeking an accomplished field sales professional to sell large, complex, bundled offerings to C-level executives, with a focus on performance contracting and guaranteed savings.

You will build long-term relationships, manage the sales process end-to-end, and align solutions with client business and financial objectives. Travel up to 50% is expected; MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
• A minimum of five to seven years of progressive field sales experience at the C-level.
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels.
• Ability to travel 50%.

Responsibilities

• Sells, with minimal supervision, the JCI offerings persuasively to building owners and owner representatives at the C-level.
• Builds partnering relationships with the economic buyer to drive solution sales.
• Seeks out, targets and initiates contact with prospective customers.
• Addresses customer objectives and recommends solutions that match business challenges.
• Effectively writes, presents and communicates proposals and closes the sale.
• Uses Salesforce and other tools to plan and document progress.
