Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, under supervision of an Account Manager (AM), Account Executive (AE), or Producer. The role ensures production and quality standards are met while safeguarding against liability from errors and omissions.

Responsibilities include client research, underwriting information gathering, loss run analysis, submissions, quotations, and binding

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, CISR designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations for existing clients, ensuring renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Conduct client research, gather underwriting information, perform loss run analysis, prepare submissions, evaluate coverages and pricing, prepare proposals, bind coverage, and follow up for policy issuance.
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
