Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and five years of professional experience in academic advising, student support, or academic program administration, or a master’s degree and three years of relevant professional experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple units and with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience developing, implementing, or evaluating student programs.

Responsibilities

  • Advise students in honors and specialized programs on degree requirements, planning, course selection, and policies.
  • Coordinate academic processes for honors coursework, independent research, and experiential learning opportunities.
  • Maintain student and program records and support reporting and tracking.
  • Coordinate recruitment events, information sessions, and orientation for prospective and admitted students.
  • Collaborate with faculty and partners to support program administration and improvements.
