Job summary

University of Texas is seeking a Graduate Program Administrator to provide advising, admissions support, and administrative coordination for the Department of Computer Science’s graduate programs. You will work with master’s and BS+MS Integrated students to ensure timely progress toward degree completion and maintain alignment with university policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least five years in graduate/undergraduate student programs.
• Experience with academic advising and monitoring degree progress.
• Outstanding customer service and ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for master's and BS+MS Integrated Program students; advise on registration, degree requirements, and CPT.
• Support admissions for master's and BS+MS Integrated Program; prepare acceptance letters and onboarding materials.
• Manage course seats, waitlists, funding tracking, and TA/AI assignments in coordination with the Graduate Office team.
• Maintain tracking systems to assess program effectiveness, GPA outcomes, and retention; support institutional assessments with TracDat.
