Job summary

University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Senior Academic Advisor to provide individual and group academic advising for CS, SDS, and the Accelerated Transfer Program. You will manage internal transfer processes, track progression, and support orientation and academic planning across the School of Computing.

Responsibilities include advising on degree requirements, course selection, registration, and connecting students with campus resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and six years of experience working with college students, or a master’s degree in a related field and four years of experience working with college students.
• Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Advise students in CS, SDS, and Accelerated Transfer Program on degree requirements and planning.
• Manage Internal Transfer processes, promotions, and progression records.
• Support freshman and external transfer orientation and advising assignments.
• Prepare reports and collaborate with faculty and partners on curriculum and enrollment matters.
