Job summary

Vertiv in Ohio seeks a Technical Sales Sr. Engineer – AC Power, GSA to advance sales for 3-Phase AC Power offerings with deep technical knowledge focused on Global Strategic Account customers.

You will respond to RFQs, help design power architectures, size batteries, and support account managers with technical documentation and customer engagements, including in-person visits and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• 4–8 years of industry sales experience.
• Technical knowledge of products and applications.
• Industry knowledge and market dynamics.
• Experience with large RFQs.
• Ability to build cross‑department relationships.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to meet quota in measured categories.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to RFPs for Vertiv 3-Phase AC Power opportunities, including drawings review and bid forms.
• Support sales growth and engagement with GSA key accounts.
• Provide technical guidance for power architectures and product ratings.
• Assist with concept designs, battery sizing, and single-line diagrams.
• Lead customer communications and provide technical documentation and design support.
