Job summary

Endeavor Air is seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee maintenance and preventive work on hangar and line facilities, aircraft, components, and equipment. You will ensure adherence to FARs, provide leadership to staff, and guide safety and best practices across bases.

The role requires a background in technical aircraft maintenance, a valid A&P license, and 3+ years in people management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 4 year degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in technical aircraft maintenance with increasing responsibilities.
• 3 years of people management and leadership experience required.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, aviation safety standards and Part 121 FAR.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability under company policy.
• Interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multi task in fast-paced environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and preventive maintenance of hangar and line facilities, aircraft, components, and equipment.
• Ensure maintenance aligns with FAR and established procedures.
• Provide guidance to staff on work assignments, procedures, safety, and best practices.
• Assist in staffing, prescreening, interviewing, and hiring technicians.
• Train and develop technicians and staff for base operations.
• Monitor staffing levels and ensure FAA training compliance.
• Manage base performance and maintenance programs; implement process improvements.
• Maintain professional relationships with FAA and provide requested information.
• Make timely safety-critical decisions to protect customers, crew, and aircraft.
