American Airlines is seeking a senior maintenance operations leader in San Francisco to guide terminal and hangar teams in executing aircraft maintenance. You will oversee supervisors, dispatch workloads, and ensure adherence to company plans, processes and safety standards while collaborating across departments.

This role requires strong leadership, an A&P license, and the ability to drive performance in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• FAA‑required credentials and license as applicable.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience supervising large, multi-shift maintenance teams.

Responsabilités

• Direct terminal/hangar maintenance supervision and staffing.
• Ensure workload dispatch and resource alignment with plans.
• Monitor KPI performance and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other managers and departments to meet objectives.
• Represent station with FAA, TSA, and suppliers as needed.
• Develop training plans and succession for management roles.
• Support bid processes and long-term resource budgeting.
• Foster safety, compliance, and efficient operations.
