Job summary

JMC Aviation Limited in California seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician, Level III, to lead complex aircraft maintenance projects and drive on-time return-to-service. You will coordinate with multiple departments, assign tasks, and oversee inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

With a minimum of six years of experience and an A&P license under 14 CFR Part 65, you will mentor junior technicians, document OJT records, and communicate status updates to Maintenance Control,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years in aircraft maintenance.
• Airframe and Powerplant license under 14 CFR Part 65.
• Ability to lead projects independently.
• Advanced troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with CFRs, MEL/NEF, and inspection methods.
• Strong organization and multitasking skills.
• Experience mentoring technicians and documenting OJT records.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance projects independently and meet RTS timelines.
• Assign daily tasks to technicians by skill level.
• Train and mentor technicians; document OJT records (TP04).
• Coordinate with departments to ensure parts/resources.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and inspections of aircraft systems.
• Provide status updates to Maintenance Control; align RTS priorities and timelines.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections; return to service compliant with CFRs.
• Input maintenance data into Corridor/CAMP CMP systems and FAR 43 records.
