Job summary

JMC Aviation Limited is seeking a senior Maintenance Technician, Level III, to lead complex aircraft maintenance projects and ensure timely return-to-service. The role demands at least six years of relevant experience, A&P certification, and in-depth CFR knowledge, with the ability to train junior staff and coordinate across departments for RTS.

You will oversee inspections, manage RTS schedules, and perform final checks in alignment with FAA regulations, while mentoring and documenting progress

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Airframe and Powerplant license (Title 14 CFR Part 65) is required.
• Ability to lead projects independently and manage complex tasks.
• Advanced troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical aircraft systems.
• Strong CFR/MEL/NEF knowledge and use of official manuals.
• Ability to train and mentor technicians and document progress (OJT).
• Experience coordinating with multiple departments to meet RTS goals.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance projects independently, ensuring timely RTS of aircraft.
• Assign daily tasks to technicians based on skill and experience.
• Train and mentor junior technicians with OJT records (TP04 referenced).
• Coordinate with materials, inspection, and maintenance control for parts and resources.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and inspections of aircraft systems.
• Provide status updates to Maintenance Control and align RTS priorities.
• Identify and mitigate high-risk tasks to maintain safety and compliance.
• Conduct in-process inspections with the Inspection Department for accuracy.
• Support final inspections and RTS sign-offs in compliance with CFRs.
• Input maintenance data and log entries into Corridor software per FAR 43.
