Job summary

GreatWater Garage is seeking an experienced Master / Diagnostic Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair complex electrical and engine performance issues. You will perform advanced diagnostics, supervise junior techs, and deliver accurate, honest vehicle evaluations in a shop that values integrity and craftsmanship.

With 5+ years of experience and ASE certifications, you’ll access modern tools and ongoing training, collaborate with a supportive team, and contribute to root-cause analysis

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as an A-Level Diagnostic Technician.
• Required state and local certifications to perform work, including a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory MVR.
• All 8 ASE certifications preferred: A1–A8, and willingness to earn Master ASE Technician.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair advanced electrical and engine performance issues.
• Diagnose fuel, ignition, and drivability systems and 4WD/AWD drivetrains.
• Perform advanced steering, suspension, and brake repairs; HVAC diagnostics and repair.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) with accurate recommendations and mentor less experienced technicians.
• Maintain a clean, professional work environment and contribute to team success.
