Job summary

Intrado is seeking a PSAP (911) IT Field Services Technician (level 3) to install and maintain 911 dispatch systems across Florida, with travel in Broward County. You will lead on-site installations, troubleshoot software/hardware, and train customers.

The role requires 5+ years in technical customer service, networking, Windows servers, and telephony knowledge. Expect to work a dynamic, field-based environment with potential night shifts and on-call duties.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of technical customer service and installation or software training experience.
Minimum 5 years experience with networking, Windows based servers and workstations.
Two or more years of experience with Oracle and SQL preferred.
Certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, MCSE) preferred.
Telephony knowledge (MDF, tip and ring punchdown, color codes, POTS) preferred.
Basic knowledge of Word and Excel required.
On-call and night shift work may be required (11pm–6am).

Responsibilities

Lead and participate in installation of 911 call handling and dispatch systems; travel to customer sites within Broward County.
Install and troubleshoot software and hardware; provide on-site training for products.
Provide remote support to customers and service technicians as needed.
Develop and document Method of Procedures (MOPs) and assist in new product training.
Prepare reports and documentation; update project plans as needed.
Maintain thorough documentation of issues and resolutions; ensure timely problem resolution.
