Job summary

A fire and security solutions company is looking for a Fire & Security Technician in Florida. This field-based role involves installing and maintaining fire alarm and security systems, requiring travel within the state. Ideal candidates will have over 2 years of relevant experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver's license. Competitive pay based on experience. Candidates must be comfortable working independently in commercial environments and have flexibility for travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with fire alarm and/or security systems.
• Proven experience with low-voltage wiring.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot commercial fire alarm systems.
• Install and maintain CCTV, access control, and intrusion alarms.
• Perform system testing, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA codes and local requirements.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately.

Hands-on experience with fire alarm systems
