Job summary

RTCA is seeking a CNC Programmer to plan and develop machining processes for 3, 4 and 5-axis centers and CNC lathes at our Sumner, WA facility. The role requires designing programs, selecting tooling, and optimizing cycle times while interfacing with tool engineers and production personnel.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years mastering Mastercam and CNC machining experience, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication.

• 5+ years' experience using Mastercam.
• 5+ years' CNC machining operation experience.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine processes and programs for 3, 4 and 5-axis milling centers and CNC lathes.
• Analyze drawings to determine cuts, tools, speeds and feeds; debug CNC programs.
• Maintain CNC programs for multiple-axis lathes and mills using CAD/CAM software.
• Write instruction sheets and tool lists for setup and operation of lathes and mills.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
