Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies in Everett, WA seeks a seasoned Numerical Control Programmer to lead 5-axis CNC programming for aerospace components. You will develop NC programs, machine control data, and setup documentation for complex parts used on Boeing aircraft, collaborating with planning, engineering, tooling, and shop-floor operators.

The role rewards hands-on problem solving, optimizing workflows, and verifying programs with Vericut to prevent collisions.

Qualifications

5+ years of NC programming experience for production machining.
Experience programming 5-axis CNC machines for aerospace parts.
Proficient in reading engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing docs.
Proficient in CATIA V5 NC programming and Vericut.
Ability to create clear setup documentation and operator instructions.
Contractor eligibility to work under engagement terms.

Responsibilities

Create, verify, and revise MCD, tooling geometry, and setup docs for multi-axis CNC machines.
Develop NC programs from engineering drawings for aluminum and hard-metal parts.
Develop multiple setups and operations to ensure producibility and tolerances.
Produce setup sheets and operator instructions for safe operations.
Use Vericut to simulate and validate programs before shop-floor execution.
Troubleshoot and iterate programs from first-article and in-process feedback.
Coordinate with planning, tooling design, and machine operators to optimize cycles.
For Level 4: lead fixture design and machining strategies across ops and machines.
Maintain program documentation and configuration control per requirements.
