RTCA, a precision aerospace and defense manufacturing group, seeks a CNC Programmer for 3, 4 and 5-axis centers and CNC lathes in Sumner, WA. Plan, develop, and test machining programs and processes with cross-functional teams to optimize productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience using Mastercam.
• 5+ years’ CNC machining operation experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication; organized and multitask-capable.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine processes and programs for 3, 4 and 5-axis centers and CNC lathes (multi-axis a plus).
• Analyze drawings to determine cuts, select tools, and set speeds/feeds; debug and test CNC programs.
• Write instructions and tool lists for setup and operation of lathes and mills.
• Maintain program availability and coordinate with engineering, estimating, and manufacturing.
