NBT is seeking a Compliance Specialist III in Massachusetts. This role focuses on preparing complex compliance and government filings while ensuring accuracy and adherence to department procedures. You will review filings, mentor teammates, and evolve processes to maintain high-quality service.

Ideal candidates hold an associates degree with 5+ years of related experience and the ASPPA QKA designation. Strong math, Excel/Word skills, and independent work ethic are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associates degree plus 5+ years related experience or equivalent.
• ASPPA QKA designation required.
• Ability to read and interpret retirement documents and government instructions.

Responsabilités

• Prepare compliance tests and year-end packages, including eligibility and contributions calculations.
• Prepare, review, and publish Form 5500, 5330, 8955-SSA and schedules for large plans.
• Maintain knowledge of moderately complex plans and learn more complex ones.
• Research and resolve testing and 5500 issues; mentor other team members.
• Prepare asset reconciliation and research differences as needed.
• Assist with QDRO allocations and corrective earnings calculations.
