Job summary

BorgWarner Arden Campus is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance technician to support operations and facilities at the Arden, NC site. The role covers HVAC, metal fabrication, electrical work, and equipment troubleshooting across automation and mechanical systems.

Candidates should have a technical degree or diploma and multiple years of hands-on maintenance experience, with ability to read schematics and work with PLC/CNC controls. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• AA.S. in Industrial Maintenance or related diploma with 2–3 years experience, or 5+ years in maintenance with automation.
• Experience troubleshooting relay, CNC, PLC, PC and servo-driven equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot breakdowns and return equipment to normal operation promptly.
• Inspect equipment and identify components to be replaced; perform repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Obtain tools and equipment to perform tasks.
• Maintain all quality standards and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Read and edit schematic drawings; perform overhead work with lifts as needed.
• Assist other maintenance technicians and install/troubleshoot control circuits.
