Job summary

BorgWarner Arden campus is seeking a Manufacturing, Automation, and Controls Technician to support thermal assembly lines and other production areas. The role focuses on safety, quality, and process improvements, bridging engineering resources with the production floor.

You will troubleshoot electrical and controls issues, design and program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, and work with sensors, motors, vision systems, and robotics under engineering guidance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or accredited technical program required.
• Courses in electronics, controls, or engineering are a plus.
• 3+ years on a manufacturing floor handling technical issues and material flow.

Responsibilities

• Bridge engineering and production to implement safety, quality, and process improvements.
• Troubleshoot electrical and controls on lines and automation equipment.
• Program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA under engineering guidance.
• Support commissioning, debugging, and maintenance of automation systems.
• Work with sensors, actuators, motors, and vision systems for automation.
