Job summary

Glitch Productions seeks a 3D Lighting Supervisor to define and elevate the lighting style across our animation projects. You will lead a team of lighting artists, work with Story, Design, Layout and Unreal/FX to ensure consistent, visually compelling scenes, and guide post-production with strong color correction and grading.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in 3D lighting leadership, deep knowledge of lighting principles, and experience with Maya and Unreal Engine in a production

Qualifications

• Proven experience as 3D Lighting Supervisor, Lead or Senior Lighting Artist.
• Strong understanding of lighting, colour, composition, mood and storytelling.
• Experience leading lighting teams and providing creative feedback.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine real-time rendering and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the lighting style, tone and quality across the project.
• Lead and mentor lighting artists, collaborate with departments to ensure visual cohesion.
• Review lighting assignments, look development and final lighting for consistency.
• Develop templates, guides and docs for lighting workflows and standards.
• Coordinate with production management to maintain schedules and priorities.
