Job summary

Morales Professional seeks a seasoned 2nd Shift Operations Manager to lead a large, complex manufacturing facility. You will provide strategic direction to production leadership, oversee second-shift activities, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.

You will develop teams, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across maintenance, quality, engineering, and supply chain to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or production operations.
• At least 4 years of leadership experience managing teams in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading production managers, supervisors, and large manufacturing teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments and organizational levels.
• Experience with HR/payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, and Great Plains is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead second-shift production operations within a large manufacturing facility.
• Plan, organize, and manage production schedules to meet operational demands and customer requirements.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to production managers, supervisors, and other team members.
• Supervise and develop large teams while promoting accountability and strong performance.
• Ensure production activities meet safety, quality, productivity, and operational standards.
• Monitor KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, engineering, and supply chain to resolve challenges.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma and other continuous improvement initiatives.
