Catalent's Kansas City facility is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing Operations on 2nd shift to lead all second-shift manufacturing activities, ensure schedule adherence, and drive safety, quality, and cost performance on site.

As the senior on the shift, you will guide front-line Supervisors, manage cross-functional collaboration, support 24/7 operations as needed, and champion Lean improvements to deliver right-first-time products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years in regulated manufacturing with at least 3 years leading people.
• Experience with cGMP, batch records, CAPA, and the operations-quality partnership.
• Lean manufacturing, structured problem solving, and data-driven performance management.

Responsabilités

• Lead all second-shift manufacturing activities and ensure schedule adherence.
• Serve as senior on-shift operations decision-maker and resolve issues.
• Ensure proper shift handoffs and continuity of open issues.
• Support 24/7 operations and weekend coverage as needed.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, OSHA, and safety standards.
• Ensure batch records are complete and right first time.
• Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to improve throughput.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve constraints.
