Job summary

Mission Critical Group (MCG) is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the 2nd shift in our manufacturing operations. You will oversee Production, Material Handling, Maintenance and other support functions to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

You will own shift production planning, labor utilization, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Operations leadership to ensure reliable execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or production experience with leadership roles.
• Experience coordinating Material Handling, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, labor utilization and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost objectives.
• Own short- and long-term production plans for assigned manufacturing areas.
• Ensure schedules are met with efficient workflow and optimal labor use.
• Monitor KPI such as labor efficiency, throughput, scrap, downtime and schedule attainment.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance to sustain production readiness.
• Coach and develop Supervisors, Leads, and support-function leaders; drive accountability.
