Whatnot is seeking a multidisciplinary Designer and Illustrator to join the Brand Experience team as an Art Director, 2D Illustration. We are a small, collaborative team shaping Whatnot's visual identity across digital experiences, campaigns, events, and merchandise.

You bring 7+ years of experience in brand, campaign, or creative studio work, with a portfolio showing strong visual thinking and hands-on execution.

Ability to lead creative work from start to finish and communicate feedback.

Responsibilities

Develop visual strategies, art direction, and creative for digital experiences, launches, events, and merchandise.
Collaborate across business verticals from brief to delivery with cross-functional teams.
Move quickly from brief to execution while preserving high craft standards.
Maintain and evolve visual strategies through moodboards and sketches for production-ready assets.
Provide actionable feedback and foster a collaborative environment.
See projects end-to-end and articulate concepts persuasively.
Use tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI workflows to improve output.
Stay current on fashion, design trends, and Whatnot community to connect with audiences.
