Job summary

Whatnot is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape buyer discovery across mobile and web, influencing how shows, products, and categories reach buyers. You will own end-to-end user experiences while collaborating with product, engineering, data, and design peers to test ideas and improve the experience.

You bring 5+ years with a strong design portfolio, strong visuals and interaction fundamentals, and a passion for consumer-facing product experiences with high visibility and rapid iteration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing digital products.
• Portfolio showing craft, thinking, and end-to-end UX.
• Curiosity about how design supports user needs and business outcomes.
• Experience with consumer-facing product experiences and high visibility work.
• Strong collaboration with product managers, engineers, and other designers.

Responsibilities

• Design thoughtful, intuitive user experiences across buyer discovery surfaces on mobile and web.
• Contribute to messaging platforms that bring buyers back with relevant content.
• Help shape ad experiences within discovery surfaces balancing buyer relevance and seller value.
• Create flows, mocks, prototypes, and polished UI communicating design intent.
• Partner with product, engineering, data, and design to test ideas and iterate.
• Participate in critiques and feedback loops and iterate quickly.
