Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a Production Superintendent to lead and optimize 24-hour manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality and cost objectives are met. You will mentor supervisors, manage resources, and drive performance across multiple lines in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in management or engineering and 5+ years of operational leadership in manufacturing, with SAP/ERP familiarity and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management, engineering or relevant field; equivalent experience considered.
• Demonstrated leadership of production teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to diagnose and solve process issues and drive improvements.
• Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations, product quality, and raw material management across multiple lines.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate work activities to maximize equipment utilization and efficiency.
• Monitor metrics like labor, material use, downtime, and costs to drive performance.
• Partner with plant leadership to implement continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Coach Production Supervisors and teams to reinforce safety, quality, and productivity.
