Educato Limited is recruiting a Level 3 SEND Teaching Assistant for a specialist SEN school in Whitefield starting September 2026. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, from September until the end of the academic year.
You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, assist with learning activities, support emotional regulation and behaviour, and collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to meet EHCP targets in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
The school provides a nurturing, structured, and inclusive environment for pupils with a range of additional needs, ensuring every child receives the individual support they need to thrive.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting pupils throughout the school day, working closely with teachers and the wider support team to provide personalised academic, social, emotional, and behavioural support.
The role is long-term and ongoing from September until the end of the academic year, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.

Supporting pupils with their independence and personal development where required.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and wants to develop their experience within a specialist SEN setting.
Hold a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, or a related field.
Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND. Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
Be calm, patient, resilient, and nurturing in their approach.

Be confident supporting pupils with learning, communication, emotional, and behavioural needs.
Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
Be proactive and able to adapt to the individual needs of pupils.
Have the right to work in the UK and be available full-time from September.
Have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS covering both the Child and Adult Workforce.
Overseas police checks may be required where applicable.
