We are currently looking for caring, patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools across Guildford and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced SEN professionals, Teaching Assistants, support workers, or individuals looking to develop a rewarding career in education.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning and develop their confidence, independence and social skills.
Your responsibilities may include:
Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils
Supporting children with SEN, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs
Helping pupils access and engage with classroom learning
Supporting pupils with their communication, social and emotional development
Implementing individual learning and support strategies
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals
Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging independence
Creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
We are looking for people who are:

Committed to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
Previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential. Experience working with children, young people, care, support work or similar settings can be highly valuable.
