Job summary

Pink Tile Education Ltd. in Fareham is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 4-16 with SEN. The role offers £14.25 per hour, a full-time position during term-time, and weekly pay.

You will work alongside experienced teachers to deliver 1:1 and small group interventions, support EHCP targets, and help pupils build confidence and independence in a nurturing setting.

SEND Teaching Assistant – Fareham – £14.25 per Hour

Location: Fareham, Hampshire

Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour

Contract: Full-Time | Term-Time Only

Pink Tile Education is working in partnership with a well-established specialist school in Fareham that supports children and young people aged 4-16 with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

This nurturing setting prides itself on delivering a highly personalised curriculum, small class sizes, and exceptional pastoral support. The school is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant who can help pupils build confidence, develop independence and achieve their full potential.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils both academically and socially throughout the school day. Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you’ll help create a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can succeed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs within the classroom
  • Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
  • Encouraging communication, confidence and independence
  • Assisting with tailored learning activities and EHCP targets
  • Helping pupils regulate emotions and maintain engagement in lessons
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff
  • Promoting a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

  • Experience within education, care, youth work or support work would be advantageous
