Aspris is seeking a dynamic leader to join Sedgemoor Manor School, driving SEND-related initiatives and strengthening the school's leadership capacity. The role emphasizes safeguarding, personal development, and inclusive practices within a small, supportive setting.
Ideal candidates will hold a relevant honours degree, PGCE, and QTS, with leadership experience and a strong understanding of SEND legislation. A collaborative, student-centred approach is essential for success in this role.
Start date: Ideally September 26 but will consider a January 27 start. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting inclusive practices and personal development across the school and ensuring that all learners have access to high-quality education tailored to their individual needs.

About The School
Sedgemoor Manor School is very different to most schools, set in a calm idyllic site with several buildings for our small teaching groups (maximum 6 pupils) to engage and learn. We are almost at capacity with 100 places for pupils in year 3 through to sixth form. Sedgemoor Manor provides education for autistic children and young people, who are supported in working towards overcoming various challenges. The staff, curriculum, site and experiences here enable them to thrive and achieve excellent accreditation outcomes. Many pupils go onto college and university.
