Connex Education is recruiting caring and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in mainstream primary schools across Taunton and the surrounding areas. We have opportunities for flexible day-to-day supply work, short-term placements and long-term positions.
You’ll support pupils with a range of SEND, helping them access learning and achieve individual targets. You’ll work alongside class teachers and SENCOs in inclusive classrooms, across local schools in the Taunton area.
Location: Taunton & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £93–£110 per day

You’ll support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them access learning, build confidence and achieve their individual targets. You’ll work alongside class teachers and SENCOs in inclusive classroom environments.
The Taunton area has a wide range of primary schools, including schools within the Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust (BWMAT).
BWMAT is a Church of England multi-academy trust supporting 46 schools across Somerset, Bath and North Somerset.
The Trust has a strong focus on inclusion, high expectations, personal development and supporting every child to flourish.
Working across local schools gives you the opportunity to gain valuable experience in different classroom environments and develop your SEND skills.
You don’t need previous SEND experience, although it is desirable.We’re particularly interested in people with experience in schools, childcare, youth work, care or support work.
