Job summary

The Office of the Secretary in Florida is accepting applications for a Senate Page Program Coordinator to oversee the Senate Page Program, a long-standing public service program for Florida students aged 15-18. Students who are accepted spend a week serving the Florida Senate during the Regular Legislative Session.

This full-time role requires independent work coordinating administrative tasks and assignments.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Administrative experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Senate Page Program and related activities.
• Coordinate administrative tasks and assignments for the program.
• Manage student applications and communications for the program.
• Schedule activities, tours, and visits with senators and officials.
• Maintain confidential information and prepare status reports.
• Train and supervise two OPS employees assisting with program activities.
• Ensure conformance with administrative policies and procedures.
• Review seminars/workshops to improve training program effectiveness.
