Job summary

The State of Florida Office of the Secretary is seeking a Senate Page Program Coordinator to oversee a longstanding program for Florida students aged 15-18. The position is full-time and requires independent work coordinating administrative tasks and assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Administrative experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate activities such as lesson plans, tours, and deliveries.
• Teach topics like legislative process, public speaking, Florida Constitution.
• Manage student applications and communications.
• Process confidential information.
• Respond to time-sensitive requests.
• Schedule visits with senators and officials.
• Train and supervise two OPS employees.
• Maintain records and prepare reports.
• Interpret and apply administrative policies.
• Review seminars and improve training programs.
• Perform other related duties.
