Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a patient SEN Teaching Assistant for an enthusiastic SEN school in Epping. You will work 1:1 and in small groups with children across primary and secondary age ranges, supporting communication, behaviour and personalised targets.

This full-time long-term role starts ASAP with ongoing support from a dedicated consultant, offering the chance to secure a permanent position and make a lasting impact on pupil wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN, ASD or complex needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Comfortable across both primary and secondary age groups.
• Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils.
• Willing to support personal care where needed.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsabilités

• Providing 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes.
• Supporting communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning.
• Following EHCP targets and individual support plans.
• Assisting with personal care where required.
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
• Helping maintain a calm, structured and positive learning environment.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and social development.
