Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a Test Architect to lead test engineering activities for strategic semiconductor test customers. You will partner with customers, product engineers, test engineers, application engineers, and platform teams to translate device requirements into practical, production-ready test solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years semiconductor test engineering and test strategy leadership.
• Knowledge of automated test equipment, devices, and production constraints.
• Experience with test development, silicon bring-up, multisite validation.
• Ability to explain tradeoffs to diverse audiences.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead test architecture for strategic semiconductor customers.
• Define end-to-end test strategies and validation plans.
• Guide implementation, debugging, and production-release processes.
• Collaborate with customers, product, hardware, and software teams.
• Present risks and tradeoffs in architecture reviews and workshops.
• Travel up to 25% and relocate to Austin as needed.
