Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a Test Architect in San Jose, CA to lead test engineering for strategic semiconductor customers. You will translate device requirements into production-ready test solutions, engage with customers and cross-functional teams, and drive test strategy and execution across programs.

The role combines hands-on testing, technical leadership, and collaboration with product, hardware, and software teams to improve quality, test time, coverage, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electronics or related field with practical experience.
• 7+ years in semiconductor test engineering and leading technical direction.
• Strong knowledge of automated test equipment and production test constraints.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end test strategies covering content, coverage, insertions and production readiness.
• Lead architecture discussions, validation gates, and risk retirement activities.
• Guide implementation from feasibility studies to test program reviews and debug.
