Job summary

Teradyne, a global test and automation leader, is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to design and deploy test solutions for Digital, High-Speed Digital, SoC, Mixed Signal and Analog devices. You will work with customers and internal teams to optimize test processes and deliver robust solutions.

You will develop software for test programs, review hardware interfaces, and support production release with thorough validation. Travel 25%+ is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering or related fields.
• 5-8 years of experience in semiconductor testing and IC test development.
• Experience with Digital, High-Speed Digital, SoC, Mixed Signal or Analog testing on ATE.
• Knowledge of Teradyne or other ATE platforms is a plus (UltraFlex/IG-XL, etc.).
• Proficient in Windows and Excel; strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug and deploy test solutions for Digital, high-speed, SoC and analog devices.
• Test program software development in collaborative environments.
• Load board/prober design reviews for test solutions.
• Analyze problems and optimize customer throughput on ATE platforms.
• Interact with customers to understand and improve test processes.
• Release to production of test solutions and correlate/gauge R&R.
• Provide training, technical exchanges and papers; build strong customer relations.
