Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Familiarity with automated test equipment (ATE) and semiconductor test environments.
• Practical software development experience and the ability to discuss technical solutions confidently with customers and engineering teams.
• Experience with one or more programming languages, such as C++, Python, Perl, or Java.
• Experience working in a Linux environment, including shell commands and scripting.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to ask thoughtful questions, identify customer needs, and translate them into actionable technical requirements.
• Strong organization and follow-through, including the ability to coordinate activities across global teams.
• Ability to learn new technologies and software products quickly.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations, including the Bay Area, Southern California, Phoenix, and Austin.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted customer relationships and understand production environments, challenges, and business objectives.
• Lead discovery discussions to uncover stated requirements and hidden needs.
• Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations showing how software meets priorities.
• Determine whether existing functionality, enhancements, or custom software best addresses requirements.
• Translate needs into use cases, requirements, and solution scopes.
• Collaborate with global R&D and software teams to assess feasibility and tradeoffs.
• Discuss software architecture, interfaces, and security with customers and teams.
• Create scripts or examples to evaluate or demonstrate solutions.
• Coordinate custom software initiatives by clarifying priorities, timelines, and risks.
• Partner with sales and field service to support adoption and smooth implementation.
