Job summary

Niuro in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Senior Customer Application Engineer to bridge product development and customer applications for advanced semiconductor solutions. You will validate customer-facing solutions in the lab and support design-in for complex projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor applications, support, or product engineering.
• C2 English level or higher.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Santa Clara, CA.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of analog/digital electronics, integrated circuit technology, oscillators, PLL, clock distribution, and embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and phase noise analyzers.
• Proficiency with Python scripting for lab automation and embedded C.
• Strong hardware and software system debugging and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with Semiconductors, Analog Electronics, Integrated Circuits.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and solutions to customers during pre-sales and post-sales stages.
• Analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable semiconductor products or systems.
• Validate customer-facing solutions in the lab to ensure system performance.
• Support design-in efforts for customer projects including embedded systems, precise time solutions, power electronics, and RF.
• Conduct in-depth technical problem solving, debugging, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate directly with product marketing on product roadmap synthesis and next-generation solutions.
• Participate in field trials, customer visits, and technical workshops across the region.

The Customer Application Engineer acts as a key technical liaison between product development teams and customers, ensuring the optimal integration, performance, and application of advanced semiconductor solutions. Operating onsite in Santa Clara, this senior role combines deep technical expertise in hardware validation with customer-facing support to drive successful product adoption. You will validate customer-facing solutions in the lab, conduct in-depth troubleshooting, and support design-in efforts for complex projects. By bridging the gap between R&D and field applications, you will directly influence product roadmap synthesis and help resolve critical technical challenges for high-performance systems.
