Job summary

GlobalFoundries Fab 8 in Malta, New York seeks a talented Test Engineering Intern to support reliability characterization and test automation. You’ll work with FEOL, BEOL, and Product Reliability teams, contributing to wafer- and package-level tests and data delivery.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, programming in C#, Python, C++, and related tools, and collaboration across engineering disciplines. This is an on-site internship in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Sophomore student pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
• English fluency in written and verbal form.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of test programs for reliability assessments using C#, Python, C++, and related tools.
• Assist wafer-level and package-level reliability testing including HCI, BTI, TDDB, EM.
• Perform electrical measurements with probers and ensure accurate data collection.
• Analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and document findings for engineering review.
• Support standardization, automation, calibration, and lab organization.
