GLOBALFOUNDRIES Fab 8 in Malta, New York is seeking a Test Engineering Intern to support the Reliability Engineering team in advanced technology reliability characterization. You will contribute to wafer-level and package-level testing, test automation, equipment operation, and data delivery while collaborating with FEOL, BEOL, and Product Reliability teams.

Qualifications

Sophomore pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Microelectronics, or related field.
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
English language fluency - written and verbal.
Ability to commit to at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain test programs and test capabilities for reliability assessments using C#, Python, C++, and related tools.
Assist with wafer-level and package-level reliability testing, including HCI, BTI, TDDB, and EM.
Perform electrical measurements using probers and ensure accurate, timely data collection.
Analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and document findings for engineering review.
Support automation, calibration, and lab organization; collaborate across FEOL, BEOL, and Product Reliability teams.
