Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Malta, NY, is seeking a talented Test Engineer to join the Reliability Engineering team. You will support wafer and package reliability testing, technology development, and qualification activities in collaboration with FEOL, BEOL, and Product Reliability teams.

Responsibilities include developing test programs, executing electrical measurements, and driving efficiency through automation while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with at least a 3.0 GPA.
• Experience in semiconductor device characterization or reliability engineering.
• Hands-on experience with probers and testers.
• Proficiency in Visual Basic, C#, and C++.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor device operation and reliability failure mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Develop test programs and maintain capabilities for reliability assessments.
• Perform wafer-level and package-level reliability testing (HCI, BTI, TDDB, EM).
• Execute electrical measurements with semi-automatic and fully automatic probers.
• Manage test schedules, priorities, and resources to meet qualification timelines.
• Drive efficiency through standardization and automation.
• Manage equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and utilization.
• Ensure safety, ESD, and QMS compliance.
