Job summary

GlobalFoundries Fab 8 in Malta, NY is seeking a talented Test Engineer to join the Reliability Engineering team focused on advanced technology reliability characterization. You will support wafer and package level tests, collaborate with FEOL, BEOL, and Product Reliability teams, and develop test programs using C#, Python, C++, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3.0 GPA or higher in a relevant field.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor device characterization or reliability testing.
• Proficiency in Visual Basic, C#, and C++ with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develop test programs and maintain capabilities for reliability assessments.
• Perform wafer- and package-level reliability testing (HCI, BTI, TDDB, EM).
• Execute electrical measurements with probers; manage schedules and resources.
• Drive efficiency through standardization and automation; ensure safety compliance.
